For the 2000 model year, a grand total of 218,525 Mustangs were produced by Ford which included all V6 and GT models. There were about 30% GT's made of this number. These totals were up by over 70% from the 1999 sales. Here is the breakdown of exterior colors sold for the entire year. Again these totals include V6 and GT. No Cobras were produced this year due to the massive recall of the 1999 Cobra. Compare these figures to the Chevy Camaro in which only 45,417 were produced for the 2000 year.
