Meet Project BrightMare

The primary vehicle representing the YMR is this Chrome Yellow 1999 GT Coupe, the car that started it all for YMR. It is driven to most of the YMR shows on the east coast. Now Vortech Supercharged and Intercooled and producing over 460 rwhp, she is a blast to drive! We plan to get more involved with drag race events soon to test the potential of the blower and show off the car in public.

The installation work is usually performed by Custom Performance in Concord, NC. You can find a detailed list of modifications below. If the item is highlighted, it is a link to more information and pictures of that item on the car.




- ENGINE: Vortech SQ supercharger w/intercooler, Anderson Power Pipe, Pro-M 80mm MAF, 60lb injectors, Accufab 75mm throttlebody, C&L plenum, Meziere's electric water pump, custom SCT tune by Dan at Pro-Dyno, now running on E85 Ethanol fuel
